MTN Ghana in the quest to promote Ghana’s strong development potential from the provision of world-class telecommunications products and services, through to innovative and sustainable corporate social investment initiatives, though they are the market leaders in the increasingly competitive mobile telecommunications industry in Ghana with over 12 million subscribers but there are massive problems to be solved.
The role to lead the delivery of a bold, new digital world to their customers are not achieved as there has been a massive complains from customers about unknown credit deduction, spam messages, mobile money fraud activities, bad data charges and a lot more without better customer experience and best practices.
After some researches they take the lead in Mobile money frauds activities on their network of which no innovative interventions to solve these unknown mobile money fraudulent operations or provide necessary explanations to subscribers. Moreover the National communication Authority have not taken any action on these issues. Can such unauthorized substandard network operations happen in EUROPE, AMERICA and other developed continents? I think lawsuits and Huge Penalties will be paid to customers but in our part of the world why are laws not obeyed? As most of these Heads of Network Communication Institutions and Managements have either had their education or lived overseas and they know what happens there but feel redundant in applying Better standards, Good laws, Effective Customer Care and Good Courtesy Practices applied during their work delivery.
